Board of Directors
Your Board of Directors has implemented term limits to ensure you diverse representation and fresh ideas. Board members may participate in the Volunteer Achievement Program conducted by the Credit Union National Association. Through this program they receive intensive training regarding credit union management and operations. They also gain a greater understanding of credit union philosophy.
Eric Jones — Chair

Eric Jones is the owner of Tinucci, Jones & Co, P.C., a CPA firm well known in the credit union industry throughout Colorado. Eric began volunteering at Elevations Credit Union on our Finance Committee. He has extensive knowledge in all areas of the credit union industry, consulting on mortgage banking issues, formation of service organizations (CUSOs), and relevant taxation strategies. Mr. Jones was appointed to a vacant Board position in 2007 and elected to the Board in 2008. Under his leadership as Chair, Gerry Agnes was selected as our new President/CEO
Eric enjoys living in Evergreen, Colorado with his wife and two sons, and thrives on all the activities Colorado offers.
Jim Menghi — 1st Vice Chair

Jim Menghi has been a member of Elevations Credit Union for 23 years, and served on the Supervisory Committee 18 years in total, several times as Chair. Jim also participated on the Finance Committee for a year until the role was assumed by the Board of Directors. His leadership and mentoring capabilities for new committee members is well known and respected. Mr. Menghi was elected to the Board of Directors in 2008, and currently sits on the Nominating and Governance committees. He was also a member of the 2008 CEO Search Committee.
Jim is employed at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) as the Deputy Director of the Joint Office for Science Support (JOSS) since 2002 and Internal Auditor/Compliance Officer from 1985 to 2002. In his current position, he is responsible for financial management of an operating division of UCAR with over $ 10M in annual funding. Previously, he was an Auditor with the US General Accounting Office (GAO) for nine years. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Delaware and holds several related professional certifications.
Raising two daughters has been his pride and joy, but when possible he bikes and hikes, taking advantage of the great Colorado outdoor lifestyle.
Carol Krismann

Carol Krismann has been a member of Elevations Credit Union for over 25 years. She served on the Supervisory Committee for 7 years and chaired that committee twice. She was appointed to the Board of Directors in June 2006 to fill a vacated position, and was elected to it in 2007. Carol enjoys serving on the Community Relations Committee as well, and calls it the “fun” committee.
Ms. Krismann is a librarian at the University of Colorado and has been the head of the William M. White Business Library since 1982. She holds a BA in Art History from Smith College, a Masters in Library Science from Columbia University and an advanced certificate in librarianship from the University of Denver. She is the author of two books: Encyclopedia of American Women in Business and Quality Control: A Bibliography.
She has also been very active in faculty governance at the University of Colorado, the American Library Association, and the Colorado Association of Libraries.
Jo Hetherington

Jo Hetherington has been a Credit Union member since 1993. She has volunteered with the Credit Union since 1995, served as Chair of the 50 & Better Advisory Board and as a member of the Marketing and Supervisory Committees. She is currently chairing the Community Relations Committee. She was elected to the Board of Directors in 2003.
Ms. Hetherington’s other volunteer activity includes work with Boulder Valley Schools, introducing language and classical art programs for grade school children, as a counselor at the Boulder Department of Mental Health, and at the Colorado State Legislature supporting issues on health and welfare of school children. Employed in Boulder County in the real estate industry since 1983, she worked in real estate at the Department of Commerce, where she was the President of the Boulder Labs Federal Women’s Program, and served on the President’s Committee to Reinvent Government, and on the Succession Planning Committee instituted by Senator Voinovich.
Lynn Walloch

Lynn Walloch
has served on the Board of Directors since 2001 and has chaired several committees, including Marketing and HR/Volunteer Development.
She retired from a 30-year career with the University of Colorado. Her last position was Assistant to the Director of the company CIRES, and she has extensive experience in the areas of personnel/human resources and budgeting. Ms. Walloch received the Supervisory Employee of the Year award at the University in 1983. She also has extensive volunteer experience with Boulder County Social Services and the City of Broomfield.
Vince Wayland

Vince Wayland has been a member of Elevations Credit Union for over 30 years, serving as a Credit Union volunteer since 1999 on the 50 & Better Club Advisory Board and the Supervisory Committee, and the Board of Directors since 2003.
Retired as a software engineer at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), Mr. Wayland holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico State University. He is a Board member for the National User Group of National Energy Research Super Computer Center (NERSC). He advised the City of Boulder through the Study Committee of the Transportation Advisory Board, and actively monitors the City of Boulder Flood Plain, transportation, and local developmental activities. In addition, Mr. Wayland has served on the Boards of various churches, has participated in the Boulder Chorale, and is a neighborhood activist.
Katie Larson — Secretary/Treasurer

Katie has been a member of Elevations Credit Union since 2002. Currently a Treasury Manager for Chipotle Mexican Grill, she was a teller at two Elevations Credit Union branches.
Katie has served on the St. Olaf Alumni Board of Directors, the Colorado Treasury Management Association Board of Directors, and the Finance and Supervisory Committees at Elevations. Ms. Larson was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2008 and elected in 2009. Her degree is in Economics with an emphasis in Finance from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.
Although she attended high school in Boulder, Katie has lived in various parts of the country as well as overseas. Katie now resides in Denver and is happy to call Colorado home.
