How We're Different
Credit unions are cooperative financial institutions, owned and controlled by the people who use and benefit from the products and services. This makes them unique in the financial services industry. The Credit Union Difference is evident in many ways including Board members who are elected from the membership to direct credit unions on behalf of the other members.

The philosophy of all credit unions is "people helping people." Each member is an equal owner, regardless of how much money he or she has invested with the credit union. As owners, members help each other meet their financial goals by providing a safe, convenient place for members to save money, get loans at reasonable rates, and receive honest, factual information to help them make better life decisions.

As Elevations Credit Union has grown over the last 50 years, the spirit of cooperation has developed into a Culture of Belonging. This sense of belonging is evident in the way we actively participate in the global credit union movement and take a leadership role in the communities where we do business.

Because we belong to members and the wider community, Elevations Credit Union prides itself on The Way We Do Business. We strive to provide more than just products and services. Our focus is on offering consumer solutions.

Credit unions also understand the value of Community Involvement. As members of Elevations Credit Union we share a common bond to Boulder County, to Colorado and to the world community. Together our members and all credit union members are working everyday to help each other achieve their financial goals and improve their lives.
