Gerry Agnes

Gerry Agnes — President and CEO
In addition to working with the Board of Directors in matters of strategy, governance and policy, Mr. Agnes leads a senior leadership team in developing and executing on the credit union’s vision and strategies.  With a personal commitment to the financial strength and a “no compromises” approach to the safety and security of member deposits and transaction and personal information, he inspires the organization to continue as the Best Financial Institution*, directs continuous improvement in member service and access, seeks process and execution excellence, leads engaged and empowered employees and creates a learning environment for all stakeholders; employees, members and the communities we serve. 

With 22 years of professional experience in the financial services industry, Gerry was most recently with $936 Million Altura Credit Union in Riverside, California where he served in a series of positions, including President/Chief Operating Officer; President of their subsidiary holding company that managed their insurance, mortgage, escrow and auto broker companies; and Chief Financial Officer.  Altura Credit Union’s CEO, Mark Hawkins called Gerry, “one of the sharpest financial minds that I have had the privilege to work with.”  Prior to Altura, Gerry was the President/CEO of The Community Foundation serving Riverside & San Bernardino Counties and before that served in senior executive positions in the banking industry.

Peggy Anderson Peggy Anderson — Chief Financial Officer
Peggy is responsible for the sound financial management of the Credit Union. She is instrumental in strategic planning, providing leadership to CUSO Financial Services (CFS), managing the credit union investment portfolio, making key decisions in asset and liability management and is liaison with the Supervisory Committee.  Upon joining the credit union in 2001, she restructured the accounting department and implemented Asset Liability Management software and strategies.  Prior to joining the Credit Union, she was the CFO for Travis Credit Union in Vacaville, California where she was instrumental in leading their growth from $650 million to just under $1 billion in five years.  She is currently serving on the SunCorp ALCO Committee and is a past member of the Colorado Shakespeare Festival Advisory Board.

Craig Burkhard

Craig Burkhard — Chief Lending Officer
Craig is responsible for all aspects of credit union lending including: Real Estate, Credit Cards, Consumer Loans, Indirect/Direct Lending, Collections and Loan Administration.  Craig joined the credit union in 2004 as the Vice President of Lending.   Prior to joining Elevations Credit Union, Craig was the Vice President of Lending with MacDill Federal Credit Union (MFCU), a $1.3B credit union in Florida.  He was with MFCU for over 17 years with responsibilities including: Contact Center Manager, Branch Manager, Assistant Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Lending.  Craig has supported the credit union industry using his speaking and presentation skills and as a member of the CUNA Chief Operations Officer council from 1999-2001 and as an active member of the CUNA Lending Counsel since 2001.
