Gerry Agnes — President and Chief Executive Officer

Gerry Agnes Gerry Agnes works with the Board of Directors in matters of strategy, governance and policy. Mr. Agnes also leads the senior leadership team in developing and realizing the credit union’s vision and strategies.  He has a personal commitment to the financial strength of Elevations Credit Union and a “no compromises” approach to the safety and security of member deposits, transactions and personal information. To maintain this quest for excellence, he directs the continuous improvement of member service and access, seeks process and execution excellence, leads engaged and empowered employees, and creates a learning environment for all stakeholders, members, employees, volunteers and the community.  He is a CPA and has 24 years of professional experience in the financial services industry.  Prior to becoming CEO of Elevations Credit Union, he was with Altura Credit Union in Riverside, CA where he served in a series of positions, including President/Chief Operating Officer; President of their subsidiary holding company that managed their insurance, mortgage, escrow and auto broker companies; and Chief Financial Officer.  Prior to Altura, he was the President/CEO of The Community Foundation serving Riverside & San Bernardino Counties; Chief Financial Officer of California Financial Bancorp; and Executive Vice President of HF Bancorp, Inc. and its subsidiary, Hemet Federal Savings and Loan Association.  He began his career as a CPA with Touche Ross & Co., a “big eight” accounting firm.


Craig Burkhard — Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer

Craig Burkhard Craig is responsible for all lending, branch operations, wealth management, marketing and business development functions. Prior to serving as EVP/COO, Craig had been the Chief Lending Officer at Elevations since June, 2007. He joined the credit union in 2004 as Vice President of Lending. Previous to Elevations, he was the Vice President of Lending with MacDill Federal Credit Union (MFCU), in Florida. He was with MFCU for over 17 years with responsibilities including: Contact Center Manager, Branch Manager, Assistant Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Lending. He serves on the Master Committee of Credit Union Direct Connect (CUDC) and has been an active member of the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Lending Council since 2001. He has Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from St. Leo University in St. Leo, FL.

Michael Calcote — Chief Financial Officer

Michael CalcoteMichael is responsible for leading, directing and executing the internal and external financial affairs of the credit union in compliance with State and Federal rules and regulations. He is also responsible for establishing the major economic and financial objectives and policies for the credit union in order to protect and ensure the long-term profitability and financial success of the organization. Prior to joining Elevations, Mr. Calcote worked for Guaranty Bank and its holding company, Guaranty Financial Group, Inc. in Austin, Texas for 19 years. He held various positions at Guaranty during his tenure, including Treasury Analyst, Assistant Portfolio Manager, Director of Asset/Liability Management (ALM), Treasurer and CFO. Mr. Calcote has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX.  He has also earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst.


Bill Fulk — Chief Lending Officer

Bill Fulk Bill Fulk is responsible for real estate lending, consumer (direct and indirect) lending, credit cards, collections, and business lending. He has a bachelor's degree in Administration from Indiana University. Prior to joining Elevations in October 2009, Bill served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Services for 3Rivers Federal Credit Union in Fort Wayne, IN. Prior to that he was a Regional Sales Executive with Wells Fargo Mortgage and also was a Regional Market Manager for First Union Bank.





Annette Matthies — VP of People

Annette MatthiesAnnette Matthies provides leadership and direction for Facilities and Security and all Human Resources initiatives, including recruitment and retention, compensation, performance management, organizational development (including succession planning), employee benefits, training and development, employment laws and employee communications.  Prior to joining Elevations Credit Union, she had over 15 years of generalist human resources experience, with increasing levels of responsibility, including over 10 years of management experience in the technology and banking industries. 




Matt Henry — VP of IT

Matt Henry Matt Henry oversees the technology infrastructure, data integration, and application development efforts for Elevations Credit Union. He provides strategic planning on technology advancements while ensuring sound decisions protect our information assets. He has over 12 years in the IT industry. He has served roles in network architecture and security infrastructure planning. In addition, he has spent several years in application development, data warehousing and web development working with companies such as JD Edwards and Hewlett Packard on special assignment projects. He is a graduate of Colorado State University’s Business School.




Mary Ann Kammerer — VP of Service Delivery

Mary Ann Kammerer Mary Ann Kammerer is responsible for the leadership and strategic direction for the branches, call center, wealth management services, remote delivery services, and the operations center. She is responsible for ensuring stellar service is provided to every member at every interaction. Before joining Elevations Credit Union in 2004, she had over 18 years financial services experience with Charles Schwab and Co., Inc. At Schwab, she held many key management and executive positions within the company. She is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Finance. She currently holds the NASD Series 7, 8 and 24 licenses. She is married with three girls. She enjoys sports of all kinds and is an avid Steelers fan.

Steven Schmidle — Vice President of Finance

Steve Scmidle Steve Schmidle is responsible for managing the accounting and finance functions at the credit union, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, audits, examinations, tax reporting, plus asset/liability management and pricing. Prior to becoming VP of Finance in June 2007, he had worked for the credit union from 2004 to 2006 as Controller and AVP of Accounting/Finance. His other credit union experience includes serving as the Chief Financial Officer and VP of Finance for the $85 million Park Side Federal Credit Union in Whitefish, MT from March 2006 to June 2007. Steve also has worked as AVP and Assistant Controller at First National Bank of Colorado from December 2000 to June 2004. Prior to this position he completed investment portfolio and ALM analytics with First Tennessee Capital Markets, serving small to mid-sized financial institutions around the country. Steve has a strong background in federal regulations and GAAP as it relates to credit union and bank financials. He also has experience in investment strategy as it relates to meeting ALM, liquidity and earnings objectives. At Elevations Credit Union, Steve leads the Pricing and ALCO Committees and is a member of the Member Business Loan committee. He also serves as a board member for the Flatirons Chapter of the Credit Union Association of Colorado. He has a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Colorado in 2004 and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Memphis in 1997.
