What is eDocuments?
The eDocuments service is a secure online storage service for your credit union statements and notices inside Link24 Online Banking. This allows members to access information from Elevations Credit Union faster and more secure than through the mail.
What notices can be viewed using eDocuments?
The following can be viewed online using eDocuments: Account eStatements, Visa Billing, FlexLine Plus Billing, Tax Statements and eNotices such as Overdraft Notices and Fees.
Will all credit union notices now be sent electronically?
No, certain notices are not intended to be sent electronically due to security and compliance issues, such as Change of Address information and mortgage billing statements.
How do I sign up for eDocuments?
Members can sign up for eDocuments inside Link24 Online Banking, in person at any of our branch locations, or by calling us at 303.443.4672 and speaking with a Contact Center Representatives. Members who joined Elevations Credit Union after August, 2006 are automatically enrolled in eDocuments.
How will I be notified that I have a new eDocument available to view?
Members will receive notification through the email address that we have on file. The email will not display what type of notice is available, only that a new notice is available to view by logging into Link24 online banking.
Do I have to discontinue paper statements that are sent through the mail in order to sign up for eDocuments?
Yes, when you sign up to receive the faster and more secure eDocuments, we no longer send paper notices and statements.
How long will my eDocuments history be available to view online?
We will archive your statements up to seven (7) years and your eNotices for 90 days.
Are eDocuments secure?
Yes, eDocuments are secure. They have the same security as our Link24 Online Banking, which utilizes the highest level of encryption available. They’re safer than receiving paper notices and statements in the mail.
I see extra buttons in my eDocuments sections that do not apply to me. Should these be there?
Yes, the five buttons located within eDocuments will be visible for all members. The only buttons that will actually show data are the ones associated with your account.
How do I un-enroll from eDocuments?
You can un-enroll from eDocuments through the Self Service tab in Link24, by calling us at 303.443.4672, or by stopping into one of our branches.
Do members have to un-enroll from all eDocuments or can they un-enroll from just some of them?
Members can un-enroll from either eStatements, Visa eStatements, or both. Members will receive eNotices if they are set up for either eStatements or Visa eStatements.
What are the benefits of eDocuments?
You will no longer have to wait for standard mail delivery times to receive your credit union statements and notices. You also don’t have to worry about someone taking your statements out of your mailbox. This helps reduce the threat of identity theft.
