Open a Business Account by Mail
Use the following steps to open your business account by mail:

1. Review the Membership Agreement*

2. Complete the Business Account Application and Authorization Form [PDF]

3. Mail:
  • Completed Business Account Application
  • Copy of your photo ID (unexpired driver’s license, military ID, or passport)
  • Savings deposit of $25 or more
  • Additional requirements (see below)

Additional Requirements
Sole Proprietor: Copy of Tradename Registration affidavit & one of the following tax identification numbers are permitted: SSN/ITIN/EIN.

Corporation: Copy of Articles of Incorporation or Current Certificate of Good Standing from Secretary of State & EIN tax identification number.

General Partnership: Copy of Partnership Agreement (if available) and/or Trade name Registration affidavit & EIN tax identification number.

Limited Partnership or Limited Liability Limited Partnership (LLLP): Copy of Partnership Agreement (always required), copy of the Tradename Registration affidavit & EIN tax identification number.

Limited Liability General Partnership (LLP): Copy of Partnership Agreement (if available) and/or Tradename Registration affidavit & EIN tax identification number.

Limited Liability Company (LLC): Copy of Articles of Organization or Current Certificate of Good Standing from Secretary of State. Copy of Operating Agreement. A SSN/ITIN/EIN tax identification number is accepted if single owner. An EIN tax identification number is required if there are multiple owners.

Association: Copy of Association Articles (if available) & Tradename Registration affidavit (if available) & EIN tax identification number.

Joint Venture: Copy of Joint Venture Agreement (always required) & Tradename Registration affidavit & EIN tax identification number.

Doing Business As (DBA): Business must be registered with the state they are doing business in. Copy of DBA Registration (Trade Name Affidavit) required. Also required are a Social Security Number (SSN or TIN, for Sole Proprietorships only) or Employee Identification Number (EIN).
