Protecting Your Card From Fraud

Update your Phone Number on File with Elevations

It is very important that you provide Elevations with your most up-to-date phone numbers. If we cannot reach you, transactions that are categorized as “high risk” will not be authorized and your credit card may be blocked to prevent further fraud. To update your phone number with Elevations:
  • Login to Link24 Online Banking from the homepage and click on Self-Service
  • Call 303.443.4672
  • Stop by a branch

Notify Elevations if You Will Be Traveling

When traveling outside of the United States, please let Elevations know in advance. If we cannot contact you and you have not notified Elevations of your travels, your cards may be blocked. Notifying us in advance will keep your cards available for purchases while you are out of the country.

Fraud Alerts

Elevations can help stop credit card fraud the moment it’s happening.

Credit card crooks and identity thieves are predictable. They follow patterns when using stolen card numbers, such as the types of items they buy, and how much they spend. Patterns like these are tracked to keep your credit and check cards safe.

Here's how it works: When someone tries to use your card in a way that is consistent with a "very high risk" transaction, the transaction is blocked immediately, while the thief is still at the point of sale. Then, a fraud analyst or automated voice system calls you to verify whether you authorized the transaction.

To respond to a fraud alert on your card, call the fraud management company directly:
