View a diagram explaining the details of Elevations Credit Union email messaging.

How can I request to stop receiving emails?
You can opt-out at anytime by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the message.  Before you do this keep in mind that by allowing us to communicate with you by email, we are being environmentally smart – it is a practical alternative to print, paper, postage and the utilization of fossil fuels needed to deliver traditional mail.

What will the emails say?
The content of emails will include relevant product or service offers, incentives or promotions. In addition, every email includes a link to RealityCheck or another consumer information article relative to the product or service offer. This link allows you an easy opportunity to do consumer research before you make a decision.

Will Elevations Credit Union ever ask me for any personal information?
No, Elevations Credit Union will never ask you for any personal information including any account information or social security number via email. Email is a responsible way to deliver relevant product and service offers, regulatory information and rate updates, not to gather confidential member information.

How many emails will I receive?
At times, you may receive more emails because we have a special promotion that may be relevant to you. We will occasionally send regulatory, compliance, rate update or other non-marketing messages. Sending these required mailings to you via email is good for the environment and ensures you receive timely information quickly.

How will I know the email is real and not a scam?
Elevations Credit Union is concerned about the use of scams through email and has taken several precautions to protect you.

  • Email Coding: Each marketing email will contain a small code at the bottom of the message. If you have a question or concern about an email you have received from us, staff can confirm the email by locating the code. Please note that phishers can copy websites and email templates to pose as authentic companies. They have the potential to copy our email template, including the code. However, their offer will not match our coded copy.  For more questions related to phishing and security, please visit our security section.
  • When in Doubt: If you ever doubt the legitimacy of an email, Elevations Credit Union always encourages you to check it out before responding.
  • From Address: Every email displays a "from" address. AOL users may only see the "from" and not the subject line. Therefore all of our emails will have the “from” address of “ElevationsCreditUnion@ElevationsCU.com”.

How can I change my email address?
To change your marketing email address, click the "Update Profile" link at the bottom of the message and choose "My Personal Information" to change your email address.
