Member service representatives Casey Berggren and Catherine Mills are happy to help members at our on-campus branch.
If you find yourself on the CU Boulder campus and in need of cash at an ATM, a no-annual fee credit card, or even a rock solid mortgage for buying your new home … you can do all of this at Elevations Credit Union’s on-campus branch. Conveniently located in the University Memorial Center (UMC) next to the campus bookstore, this is a powerful full-service branch that delivers comprehensive financial services for everything from car loans to business loans and from savings accounts for kids to retirement accounts for adults.

"Most people don’t realize we’re a full service branch," said Cynthia Lamb, Branch Manager. "Many of our members come in and say to us: "I didn’t know you offered that!"

"We do everything all of the other branches do," she continued.  "Mortgages, trusts, home equity loans and lines of credit, you name it."

Because of its on-campus location, the branch does serve primarily students. "Faculty and staff at the University have discovered the wealth of financial services available to them and have taken advantage of our convenience," Cynthia noted. "While most people we tend to work with are associated with the University in one form or another, everyone is welcome to transact their business here as well as to open new accounts, from deposits to loans."

Elevations also has three surcharge-free ATMs located literally within steps of the on-campus branch, for members (as well as non-members!) seeking some quick cash or even for making deposits into their accounts, without having to wait in line or for those times late at night when the branch is closed. A host of other ATMs are also conveniently located across the campus, including in Farrand Hall, Libby Hall, on Regent Drive, in the Engineering Building lobby, and at Williams Village, just south of Baseline on 30th.

With on-campus events at CU throughout the year – sporting events, concerts, graduation ceremonies, the ballet, Shakespeare Festival, and much, much more – you might find yourself close to one of the best-kept secrets on campus, the full-service Elevations Credit Union branch. Cynthia Lamb reminds you that: "We’re here, we’re on campus, we’re fully accessible, we’re ready to help and we’re easy to do business with.  We can help our members with certificates, savings and checking accounts, how to use online banking, Health Savings Accounts, credit cards, and loans. We can even get our student members a loan to buy a bicycle, and we won’t charge interest on the loan. That’s certainly a popular loan product with our student members."

The UMC Branch is open Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is located at 1669 Euclid Avenue, Suite 143 in the University Memorial Center, at the intersection of Broadway and Euclid.

Cynthia Lamb
UMC Branch Manager

Cynthia Lamb comes to her role as Branch Manager at the UMC facility with a strong banking and financial services history behind her. She began her financial services career early on in life.
Cynthia Lamb Right after high school, a temporary services employment agency placed her in a position at Colorado National Bank. She then majored in Business in college and after completing her education, she worked at Commercial Federal Bank first for 12 years, Wells Fargo for 15 years, then Valley Bank and Trust for 5 years. After all of this, she said she made the switch to Elevations Credit Union two years ago because she wanted to be more hands-on and help people directly with their financial goals. She found she could do all of that at Elevations. "Credit union members are friendlier and the credit union employees are more accessible," Cynthia noted. "It makes for a great combination."
