Do I need to register or I am automatically enrolled in the program?
You are automatically enrolled as a benefit of being a member of Elevations Credit Union. You only need to register with Rainbow Rewards if you want to monitor the accumulation of cash back bonuses.
Do I need to let the merchant know I'm a member of Rainbow Rewards?
No. Rewards are automatic as long as you are purchasing with a registered card at a participating business.
Is rainbowrewards.com a secure website?
Yes. When you enroll or access your account information, you are communicating with secure web servers protected by VeriSign, the leader in Internet security. We use state-of-the-art encryption software (SSL) to protect all of your information before you send it to us and before we display it back to you. Additionally, all of the personal information and purchase data we collect is protected from unauthorized access using extensive security measures.
What merchants participate in Rainbow Rewards?
Rainbow Rewards allows businesses in nearly every category throughout the greater Denver area to participate. A current list of businesses is always available at rainbowrewards.com/elevations. You can search for businesses by region, category, cash back percentage and name.
How can I earn cash back from Rainbow Rewards today?
Sign up and find a participating business – both can be done at rainbowrewards.com/elevations. Then make a purchase at that business using your registered card. That's it! Your reward will be processed and automatically posted to your Rainbow Rewards account within 10 business days of your purchase.
How do I get access to my rewards/cash?
Your points are accumulated in your rewards account, which you can check at rainbowrewards.com/elevations at any time. The rewards can be automatically deposited into your Elevations Credit Union account every time the balance reaches $25.00, or a rewards check will be directly mailed to you.
What if a reward has not posted to my Rainbow Rewards account after 10 business days?
You may contact us by filling out the form on our website, sending an email to info@rainbowrewards.com, or calling 1-866-GET-GIVE. Depending on the circumstances, we may ask for proof of purchase in the form of a receipt or statement. Once we validate the purchase, we will issue the reward manually.
Will my reward be reflected on my receipt?
No. To view your reward, go to rainbowrewards.com/elevations and log-in with the username and password you create once you sign-up.
Why are some merchants listed on your site as Coming Soon?
In cases where the merchant's credit card processor has yet to start sending us data, the listing is shown as Coming Soon. This can be a lengthy process involving legal contracts and programming work to ensure that data is both secure and accurate. We do our best to keep things moving quickly, but the truth is that many are slow to act.
You will not be able to earn a reward at any merchant that still shows as Coming Soon. When we start receiving data from the processor, the Coming Soon label is removed and you will see the merchant's cash back percentage. That's when you know the merchant is live... you can make a purchase with your registered card, a reward will be allocated to your Rainbow Rewards account, and donations will be made to our charity partners.
Is there a limit on the number of times I can receive a reward from a participating business?
No. The only exception is when a business is offering a special deal for first-time customers. After that first purchase, however, you are still entitled to receive the everyday cash back reward for as many times as you make a purchase.
Will I continue to receive the benefits associated with my debit or credit cards such as airline miles or points?
Yes. Your participation in Rainbow Rewards does not affect the benefits associated with your credit or debit cards in any reward programs. You will continue to earn miles, points or any other incentives associated with your debit or credit card in addition to earning cash back through Rainbow Rewards.
What assurances do I have that my personal information will be kept private?
Rainbow Rewards is as concerned as you are about protecting your personal information. Our business depends on our ability to protect your information and keep our promises to you.
Is this program in existence anywhere else?
Not yet. Rainbow Rewards launched in Denver and has quickly expanded into other Front Range areas of Colorado. A national rollout is beginning this year.
How do I find out the size of the reward being offered from each business?
Participating businesses choose a cash back percentage that ranges from 3% to 20%. At rainbowrewards.com/elevations, these percentages are displayed next to each business listing. The dollar amount of the reward is equal to your purchase amount multiplied by the cash back percentage. For example, if you made a purchase of $50 at a business with a cash back percentage of 5%, you would earn a reward of $2.50.
How much of my reward goes to charity?
None. Your purchase triggers an automatic donation from Rainbow Rewards to the Mile High United Way and local public school districts.
Will I keep my rewards if I my card number changes?
Yes, your rewards stay with you regardless of the card number. The new card number is simply added to your existing Rainbow Rewards account.
