Elevations Credit Union is committed to supporting the communities in Boulder, Broomfield, Larimer and Adams Counties through various means including college scholarships, volunteerism and financial assistance.
Belonging to the Community
Our volunteer Community Relations Committee oversees grants and giving programs that support educational opportunities, enhance and protect our environment, and provide affordable housing in our area.
In addition, staff are encouraged to become active in the community by participating with non-profit organizations through our program of paid volunteer time-off. By providing volunteer opportunities for staff we hope to kindle a spirit that will continuously grow and spread throughout the community.
Communities are also enriched when we come together in celebration. Elevations Credit Union actively participates in a variety of community events and celebrations. The following lists examples of events that enrich our communities and have received our support:
Belonging to Our Members
With the many choices available and increasingly busy lifestyles, we understand that gathering reliable information to make wise financial decisions can be overwhelming. That's why we've developed impartial educational materials and seminars to provide members with the information they need to make decisions. Naturally, we would like members to handle all of their financial business with Elevations Credit Union, however, we prefer that they get the best products and services for their individual situation. Responsibility to our members comes first, above everything else
Each member of Elevations Credit Union is an owner. Thus the Credit Union belongs to its members and every decision we make is focused on the best interest of the membership. As a not-for-profit cooperative financial institution, the Credit Union's success is directly linked to that of the membership. This mutually beneficial relationship joins us together, guides our operations and helps create balance. This sense of common goals, cooperation and shared values underlies our culture and creates an atmosphere of belonging.
Belonging to the Credit Union Movement
Credit unions throughout the world help people improve their lives. Nationally, credit unions share their knowledge on issues of regulation, operations and financial services to provide the best practices and products in the financial services industry. Around the globe, credit union staff, volunteers and members work together to create opportunities of growth and stability for millions of members.
Credit unions provide seminars and education to their members, helping them become better, smarter consumers. They understand the Circle of Prosperity. If the members are successful in their life endeavors, the credit union will also become a success in providing them essential products and services.
Credit unions also understand the value of community. As a cooperative community, the credit union is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The responsibility of these volunteers is to ensure the credit union is financially sound and provides the necessary balance between the financial needs of the business and the needs of the membership.
