How do I set up direct deposit into my account?
is a great way to save time and ensure that your money is deposited on the day of your paycheck. It saves a trip to a branch to make a deposit in person and makes funds available for you even when you're out of town. To set up direct deposit, simply give your employer the routing number for the credit union, along with your 13 digit account number. The routing number is: 307074580. What is the minimum balance to open and maintain a money market account?
We offer four different Money Market types and each has a different minimum balance requirement. There is the FlexTier Money Market with a minimum of $2,000; the Select Money Market with a minimum of $25,000; the Premier Money Market with a minimum of $50,000; and the Jumbo Money Market with a minimum of $100,000. Generally, the larger the deposit, the more you will earn in dividends through a higher interest rate.

If there is a mistake on my credit bureau report how do I fix it?
If it is our error, contact us
and we will fix it. If the loan was 30 days or more past due and it is not our error, we can not legally remove that information from your credit report. If you need additional information, please contact our Loss Mitigation department at 303.443.4672, x1707 or 800.429.7626, x1707.
How can I get a copy of my credit report?
You can get a copy of your credit report through any of the three main credit bureaus: Equifax, Experian and Trans Union. Please contact them directly.
Are contributions to a SEP Plan tax deductible?
Generally, if they were made by your employer, you cannot deduct these contributions. If you made the contributions as a self-employed person they may be deductible. Consult a tax advisor.
How can I apply for a first mortgage loan?
We offer an online application you can use to apply for a mortgage.
What is your fax number?

Is NCUA the same as FDIC?
The NCUSIF share insurance for credit unions is similar to the deposit insurance protection offered by the FDIC for banks. NCUA protects members against losses should a federally insured credit union fail. Not one penny of insured savings has ever been lost by a member of a federally insured credit union.
Do I get travel/rental car protection with my credit card?
A collision damage waiver program is available when you purchase your rental car using the card.
What is Enhanced Multi-Factor Authentication (eMFA)?
- Enhanced Multifactor Authentication is an online banking security process that means two or more different types of factors of authentication must be passed before allowing access to online banking. Using two different factors of authentication provides higher assurance that you are the correct intended use
- This increased protection uses the online username and password as well as a One-Time-Passcode (OTP). This multi-step process works to ensure online account access has been verified by both password and through a separate device (code sent to cell phone, email or voice call). Without effective authentication controls, it is possible for fraudulent users to access your account
- For convenience, after you successfully authenticate with your password and One-Time Passcode, you may enroll your computer for use in authentication. If you choose to enroll your computer, a special browser cookie will be present on your system that indicates you have enrolled, and thereafter you only need your online banking username and password to access your account.
Note: If you delete your cookies or have your PC set up to regularly delete your cookies, the system will not recognize your PC and will require you to re-authenticate and register your PC each time you log in.

Can I lock in a mortgage interest rate?
Yes. After completing an application you may contact the mortgage department at 303.443.4672, x2289 and ask the mortgage representative to lock the loan interest rate for you. You may also email your loan officer before 9:00 am the following business day and use the time and date stamp from that to lock in the interest rate. Otherwise the loan officer will be in touch with you within one to three business days to discuss moving forward.
What is Secure Chat?
Secure Chat allows you to communicate in a secure method with Elevations in a real time environment. Your questions and the responses from Elevations are all done within your Online Banking secure session.
What does a Wealth Management Consultant do?

What is account-to-account transfer?
Account-to-account transfer is a convenient way for you to move money between your accounts at Elevations and other financial institutions. More than 23,000 domestic banks and credit unions and 85% of brokerages participate with account-to-account transfer functionality.
Why is Elevations charging the overdraft transfer fee?
Elevations is a financial cooperative that is owned by the members. There are costs associated with services that we provide our membership. These costs can include resource time as well as technology. We strive to be fair in any costs or fees that are realized by our members versus those which we absorb. We are committed to being transparent with our fee schedule. We feel that this overdraft transfer fee is fair and extremely competitive in the current market place.
What is Dividend Checking?
With a Dividend Checking
account if you carry a balance over $1,000 then the account earns dividends. You must maintain a combined minimum of $10,000 in your account to avoid a monthly fee. You can combine the balances of savings, checking and money market accounts for this account. What is the overdraft transfer fee?
The overdraft transfer fee
is part of Elevations' overdraft protection. It is a $3.00 fee for an automatic transfer from an overdraft transfer source into a checking account. Members can designate a savings account (primary or alternative) or a credit card as an overdraft transfer source.

How do I report fraud or dispute a charge on my credit card?
To dispute a transaction on your credit card, please contact CO-OP, our Visa dispute and fraud service provider, at 888.346.4412 for assistance in opening your case with their one-call resolution. Fraud/Disputes must be started within 60 days from the statement date.
What are CO-OP ATMs?
Elevations Credit Union is part of a cooperative CO-OP ATM
network which shares access to over 28,000 CO-OP ATMS nationwide. As an Elevations Credit Union member you will be able to conduct up to 8 withdrawals free each month through CO-OP ATMs.
What is the difference between a PIN based transaction and a SIGNATURE based transaction?
A PIN based transaction involves the use of your card and a 4-digit PIN entry. These transactions can include ATM use or merchant transactions. Upon approval, the funds are immediately withdrawn from your account. A signature based transaction involves the use of your card and your signature to complete the transaction. These purchases are run through Visa and do not post to your account immediately.

How do I access MyDeposit?
Log into Online Banking and click on the Products and Services tab and select Remote Deposit.
Can I get an FHA loan?

What is an Account Nickname?
An Account Nickname is a way for you to label your accounts so you can easily identify them within online banking. Examples include "Vacation Savings" and "Tommy College Fund." Nicknames can include up to 30 letters and numbers including spaces, but cannot include special characters such as exclamation points, apostrophes, ampersands, etc.
What do I do if I`m locked out of my online banking account?
If you are locked out of your online banking account you may come into a branch

When will I get my tax forms?
All tax forms, except 5498s for contributions made to tax-deferred accounts such as IRAs, ESAs and HSAs, will be sent by January 31. 5498 tax forms will be sent in April and May.
What should I do if I am not sure what type of loan is best for me?

What are the different payment statuses for person-to-person transfers?
Below is a list of all the possible payment statuses and their definitions:
- On Hold: The payment was placed on hold because the sender failed verification when attempting to schedule the payment. Please call 303.443.4672 to remove the hold.
- Pending: If this is a payment you sent, the recipient was notified of this payment. The funds will be withdrawn from your bank account the next day. If this is a payment you received, the payment is being processed and the funds will be deposited into your bank account within 3 business days.
- In Progress: If this is a payment you sent, the recipient was notified of this payment and the payment is being processed. If this is a payment you received, the funds are en route and will be deposited into your account within 3 business days.
- Failed: A payment may fail due to one of the following reasons:
A. The recipient is unable to validate access to the mobile phone as provided by the sender.
B. The funds could not be deposited into the bank account provided by the recipient.
C. There are insufficient funds in the account to cover the amount of the payment.
- Stopped: The sender stopped the payment after the send date. The funds are returned to the sender's account.
- Expired: The recipient has 10 days from the send date to provide instructions on how to deposit the payment, after which the payment expires and the funds are returned to the sender's account.
- Completed: The payment has successfully been deposited into the recipient's account.
How do I locate a branch or ATM using the mobile website?
Yes, by clicking on the locations link you can search for Elevations Branches, ATMs (surcharge free & deposit taking) and Credit Union Service Centers. Select your location option and then search by City, State or Zip. The standard radius for locations is 20 miles and 20 results will be displayed.
What is Desktop Sharing?
Desktop Sharing allows you to connect your computers’ desktop with an Elevations representative to allow them remote access to share your screen. This allows both you and the representative to be looking at the same online banking pages to help answer product questions or offer support. By sharing the same desktop experience, you can ensure that both parties are on the same page while communicating about Elevations products and services.
What happens if my check is not accepted by MyDeposit?
Members with checks that are not accepted immediately by MyDeposit will likely be asked to bring the check to a branch or mail in for regular processing. Just because a check does not initially process correctly via MyDeposit does not mean the check will not be accepted. The system may be having difficulty reading the MICR number (numbers on the bottom of the check) or other information on the check.
How do I report a card as lost or stolen?
You can call Elevations during business hours at 303.443.4672 or 800.429.7626. After business hours you can contact our Card processor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 888.241.2510. You can also come into any of our branch locations.
What is Courtesy Pay?
is an overdraft protection service that Elevations Credit Union may elect to use if your overdraft protection sources are exhausted. While it is not an invitation to overdraw your account, it is an added layer of safety should you accidentally become overdrawn.
Can I roll my closing cost fees into my loan?
In most instances you can roll the costs into the loan. This can depend on credit qualifications and loan details so please ask your loan officer at the time of application.
At what age can I apply for a loan?
How old do I have to be to apply for a Visa or a Debit card?
A member needs to be age 18 or older in order to apply for a Visa Credit Card
. At the age of 13 a member is eligible to open a checking account
and request a Visa Debit Card.
What is MyDeposit?
MyDeposit allows you to make real-time deposits from the comfort of your home or office while using a standard scanner. You will log into Online Banking to use the service.
Do I have to close my account if I move out of state?
Absolutely not! Even if you do not live near an Elevations branch, you can keep your account. With shared branching and online services such as online banking and electronic bill pay, you can easily access your account and your funds from almost anywhere. Service Centers can link automatically to your account here at Elevations Credit Union and can conduct as many deposit, withdrawal, transfer, or loan payment transactions as you like. It's so easy.
The CU Service Center network is perfect when you're traveling on business, or vacation. And if you are relocating out of our area permanently, there is no need to leave your credit union. Whether you're retiring or taking a new job, we'll be there for you with CU Service Centers.
What sizes are available for safe deposit boxes?
There are 5 different sizes of safe deposit boxes available. They are 3"x5", 5"x5", 3"x10", 5"x10" and 10"x10".
Can I get emergency cash and card replacement when my card is lost or stolen?
Members with Elevations Credit Union Credit Cards and Business Debit Cards can get an emergency cash advance or replacement card when they report a lost or stolen card. In most cases, these services can be delivered within 24 hours in the U.S. or one business day internationally.
For Visa Emergency Cash and Card Replacement, call 1.800.VISA.911. A representative will work with you to arrange a convenient location to pick up cash or a replacement card. You can also make arrangements for direct delivery.

When will the recipient receive the funds with a person-to-person payment?
When funds are received depends on the delivery speed you selected to send the payment. For Standard Delivery it can take 3 business days and for Express Delivery the funds arrive the next business day.
What is APY?
APY is the abbreviation that stands for Annual Percentage Yield. This expresses an annual rate of interest taking into account the effect of compounding.
What are your fees?
We make our fee schedule
available on our website. You can also request that we mail one to you. We always notify members of any fee changes prior to implementing them. Elevations Credit Union is not-for-profit. We exist to serve our members, not to make a profit. Unlike most other financial institutions, credit unions do not issue stock or pay dividends to outside stockholders. Instead, earnings are returned to our members in the form of lower loan rates, higher interest on deposits, and lower fees.
Can all mobile app users access bill pay?
Yes, to use bill pay, you can enroll through online banking or our mobile app. Once enrollment is completed, you can send payments to existing payees, or if a new payee needs to be credited, this can be done through the app or desktop.
What are the eligibility requirements to join the Credit Union?

Does the credit union offer jumbo mortgage loans?
Any mortgage over $417,000 is considered a jumbo. Please talk with your loan officer to discuss the situation, as the loan structure may vary.
What is automatic deposit?
Automatic deposit is the easiest and fastest way to receive money. It allows you to designate one account into which payments from all participating financial institutions will be automatically deposited. Once turned on, there's nothing more for you to do - you will be notified of incoming payments via email or text message, the payment will be sent into your selected account. You can edit automatic deposit settings in Preferences.

There is no limit to the number of accounts you may have at Elevations Credit Union. What is eStyle Checking?
One of the features of eStyle Checking is that there are no ATM fees. There is also no charge for bill pay and if you carry a balance over $1,000 then the checking account earns dividends. The main limitation is the number of free branch, contact center or shared branch transactions and you must maintain a minimum of $500 in your account to avoid a monthly fee. You must also enroll for eDocuments or there is a monthly fee for paper statements. How do I download the iPhone or Android mobile app for my smartphone?
iPhone users can search for the Elevations Credit Union mobile app within their iTunes account or at the App Store. Install the app and then locate on your mobile device.

Is there a minimum balance requirement for your free checking account?
There is no minimum balance requirement for an Elevations free checking account. All members are required to maintain a savings account with a minimum of $25 to keep their membership with the credit union.
Can I get my credit card interest rate lowered?

What type of checking accounts do you offer?
We offer checking accounts to fit everybody's style. There's Free Checking
with no monthly service charge and no minimum balance. For those who prefer paying their bills online, there's eStyle Checking. And there's Dividend Checking for those who prefer earning larger dividends on their account. Students at the University of Colorado are eligible for our Buff One banking accounts.
What is a pending transaction?
A credit card or debit card transaction may show as pending when you use your signature instead of a Personal Identification Number (PIN) at a merchant, place an order for merchandise or services over the phone or online, or choose "credit" when you swipe your card at an automated service like a gas pump. The merchant gets authorization to establish that your checking account is open and that funds are available before you complete the purchase. Once the purchase is completed, the actual purchase amount will be deducted from your account, usually within three business days. If the authorization is not matched with an actual purchase within three business days, it will be removed from your account.
How do I open a safe deposit box?

Can I use my card internationally?
Yes! You can use your card internationally. Your Elevations cards can be used at millions of locations worldwide, wherever Visa is accepted. And it's safer than carrying cash!
When traveling outside of the United States, please let us know in advance by calling 303.443.4672 or 800.429.7626 to ensure that your card is not blocked while you're traveling. If our Fraud Protection Service cannot contact you at the phone number on file with Elevations, your cards may be blocked. Notifying us in advance should keep your card available for purchases. When doing international transactions at ATMs, stores and financial institutions, Visa charges a conversion fee of up to 1%. This is not an Elevations fee but is charged directly from Visa. You can view this fee on your statements or online banking.
