- Worry-free* shopping. You can use your card to shop with confidence. That's because Elevations Credit Union protects your card information 24/7 and you won't be held responsible for unauthorized purchases made with your card or account information.
- Resolution to fraudulent charges. View your monthly Elevations Visa statements regularly to spot problems quickly. You can dispute an incorrect charge or report fraudulent activity so we can take swift action and you can regain control of your account.
- Provisional credit.* If your account is compromised, Elevations and Visa are committed to setting things right without further aggravation or inconvenience to you. Visa's protection policy requires all financial institutions issuing Visa products to extend provisional credit for losses from unauthorized card use within 5 business days of notification of loss. Fraudulent or disputed charges must be reported to Elevations within 60 days from the date of the statement the charges appear on. If you do not complete the required forms or if the dispute is reported invalid, the provisional credit may be removed from your account.
* Covers U.S.- issued cards only. Does not apply to ATM transactions, PIN transactions not processed by Visa, HSA debit card transactions or certain commercial card transactions. Individual provisional credit amounts are provided on a provisional basis and may be withheld, delayed, limited, or rescinded by your issuer based on factors such as gross negligence or fraud, delay in reporting unauthorized use, investigation and verification of claim and account standing and history. You must notify Elevations Credit Union immediately of any unauthorized use. Transaction(s) must be posted to your account before provisional credit may be issued.
