A transaction refers to any paper-based transaction that is either debited from or credited to your account. This includes things like:
- Deposit and Withdrawal of cash and check
- Check Written
However, the following do not count as items:
- Transfers made through Online Banking or by Phone
- ATM Transfers
- Transfers between Elevations accounts
- Any electronic debits or credits (such as direct deposits or automatic payments)
These types of transactions are excluded from the item count and will not impact any limits or fees associated with paper items.

You’ll need to bring these documents:
- SSN or EIN
- If DBA is requested: Certificate of Fact of Trade Name or Statement of Trade Name of a Reporting Entity
- Copy of valid photo ID per signer

The excess cash fee is only applicable to all cash deposits in branch and through Elevations Credit Union ATMs.

Person-to-person transfer options like Zelle®, Venmo, and PayPal let you send and receive money anytime, anywhere. These services are designed for paying friends and family — people you know and trust.
Common transfer options.
- Zelle: Elevations does not support Zelle.
- Venmo: Download the Venmo mobile app, and then follow the steps to enroll with your Elevations account information. You may choose to link a debit card, checking account, savings account, credit card, and more to make payments with Venmo. Learn more.
- PayPal: Download the PayPal mobile app. By following the instructions, you’ll be able to link your credit card, debit card, or checking or savings account. This will provide you with another way to make payments or send money with PayPal. Learn more.
