About Us
It matters where you bank.
In 1952, the U. of C. Federal Credit Union was founded with 12 members and less than $100 in assets to serve the financial needs of CU Boulder staff and faculty. Today, Elevations is an award-winning Colorado financial institution with over $3 billion in assets and more than 170,000 members. While our name has changed and our credit union has grown, our focus remains on empowering our members with financial solutions and education.
We believe in empowered banking.
Elevations exists to foster growth in our community by providing members with an empowering banking experience. We’ve made a commitment to move away from a product-centered business model and focus instead on creating solutions.
Our objective is to provide our members, as well as the entire community, with unbiased consumer information. In addition to one-on-one consultations, we host dozens of free financial seminars on a wide range of subjects, and we reach thousands of K-12 students through our financial literacy programs in schools each year. After all, informed members make better decisions that benefit us all.LOCAL CHANGE FOUNDATION
Giving back to the people and places we serve.
We proudly support the Local Change Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that has provided over $4 million in community resources since 2010. Local Change offers scholarships for local students with proven track records and financial need, community grants for nonprofits doing important work, and disaster assistance in times of need.
Community sponsorships.
Elevations believes in the importance of giving back to the communities we serve in many tangible ways. These include grants from our Foundation, event sponsorships, volunteerism, and board membership. We strive to support local organizations and charities to help our neighborhoods thrive.
If your organization is seeking sponsorship support, please submit the request form below at least 60 days in advance of your deadline.
Our Sponsorship committee will contact you via email once your request has been reviewed.
If your organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, learn more about the community grants program at the Local Change Foundation. The application cycle is open from mid-July through August.
