Monica Stitt

Monica was appointed to the Elevations Board in 2021, elected in 2022, and re-elected in 2023, and 2026. She serves as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and the CEO Committee.

Monica is a C-level executive and board director with over 25 years of experience in the technology industry across the private sector, public sector, and nonprofits. She is currently the director of Strategic Initiatives at Western Union. Monica has a proven track record in strategy development, business operations, and executive leadership. She holds bachelor’s degrees in business administration and computer science from Regis University, and she completed the 50 for Colorado Leadership Program through the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business. Additionally, Monica was a recipient of the Denver Business Journal's Outstanding Women in Business award in 2022 and was named StateScoop 50 Awards’ Golden Gov: State Executive of the Year in 2015. Monica has served as a board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado and the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce. She currently serves as a member of the YMCA of Metro Denver Board of Directors. Monica lives with her husband in Denver and enjoys traveling, playing golf, and checking out live comedy shows and sporting events.
