Shelley Ormsby

Shelley Ormsby leads the organization’s lending strategy, overseeing mortgage, consumer lending, commercial lending, and business banking. She drives responsible growth, delivering strong member value and supporting long-term financial sustainability across the credit union’s lending portfolio.

Shelley brings more than two decades of experience in financial services, with deep expertise in lending, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Prior to her current role, she served as legal counsel and compliance officer at Elevations.

Throughout her career, Shelley has held senior leadership roles at Centennial Lending and FirstBank, where she led commercial and mortgage lending, drove portfolio growth, directed operational transformation initiatives, and implemented compliance frameworks across multiple business lines.

Shelley holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and a bachelor’s degree in business finance from Regis University. She is also an alumnus of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. Additionally, she uses her financial and legal experience to provide value on local community boards.
