There’s no minimum balance requirement for Elevations Free Checking, Buff One Checking, and Forever Buffs Banking. All members are required to pay a one-time $5 membership fee and have a Membership Savings account (also with no minimum balance requirement).

Here’s how ATM fees work for our checking accounts:

• Free, unlimited withdrawals at Elevations ATMs
• Eight surcharge-free transactions per month at over 30,000 CO-OP ATMs nationwide
• Two surcharge-free transactions per month at other ATMs (charges from the owner of the ATM will apply)

Buff One Checking is a checking account designed for CU Boulder students who are currently enrolled. It allows students to use their Buff OneCard Student ID as their debit card at ATMs on campus. Forever Buffs Banking is designed for CU alumni and Buffs fans and features a CU-themed debit card.

You can access campus ATMs with both your standard debit card and your linked Buff OneCard. The linked Buff OneCard can be used for campus ATM transactions.

Your Buff One Checking account comes with a free debit card. Contact us or visit the on-campus Elevations branch at UMC to get started.

To replace your credit or debit card, please call (888) 346-4412, available 24/7. You may also log in to Elevations Online Banking and start a secure chat to replace your card.

3. Click “Manage Card” on the card image
4. Under “Replacement Options”

Please note that it may take 5-7 days for delivery of your new card by mail. To receive your card instantly, please visit an Elevations branch.

Here’s the process after you open a Buff One Checking account with Elevations Credit Union:

1. Pick your PIN number for your Buff OneCard.
2. Use it at any ATM or merchant supported by the STAR network.

Buff One Checking is available to current and incoming CU Boulder undergraduate and graduate students. Parents may assist or co-own the account.
