Derek Otte
Derek leads the business banking team at Elevations Credit Union, overseeing strategy for business deposit and loan products. He is committed to delivering exceptional financial solutions and building a team of business bankers dedicated to outstanding service.
Throughout his career, Derek has focused on building long-term relationships as a trusted advisor. Having spent over 20 years in banking working at two Colorado community banks, Derek has a wealth of financial experience. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Northern Colorado and completed the Graduate School of Banking program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Beyond banking, Derek is deeply involved in the community and has served on several non-profit boards — he has served for nearly a decade on the Westminster Public Schools Foundation board. A Colorado native, he enjoys the outdoors — hiking, fishing and supporting local sports teams. Derek and his wife have two children involved in ice skating and hockey, along with a beloved Bernese Mountain dog.
