Routing Number, Account Number, and Direct Deposit
  • A routing number is a nine-digit code to identify your financial institution. This may also be called an American Bankers Association (ABA) routing transit number (RTN). You will need the routing number for transfers, wire transfers and direct deposit.

    Elevations Credit Union does not have a SWIFT Code, IBAN or other international routing code for wires coming from outside the U.S., but you can wire funds to your Elevations account without this information. Your international financial institution will have a corresponding bank in the U.S. they can wire to, which will forward the funds to Elevations using our routing number: 307074580.

  • Your account number is a 13-digit number. Pick one of the options below to find it:

    • Log in to online banking, select the account, and then select “Account Details” to view the account number.
    • Log in to the mobile app, select the account, and then select “Show Details” to view the account number.
    • For your checking account number, identify the 13-digit account number at the bottom of your checks.

    Your member number is the last six digits of your full 13-digit account number.

  • An account suffix is a number Elevations Credit Union uses to identify an account type. For example: it identifies a checking or savings account.

    Your account suffix can be found by logging into online banking, selecting the account, and then selecting “Account Details.” The account suffix is the field labeled “Number.”

  • To set up direct deposit, please download, fill out and print the Direct Deposit Form (PDF). Give the completed form to the company or organization initiating the payment.

    You’ll need to know the Elevations routing number and your account number:

    • Elevations routing number: 307074580
    • Your Elevations account number: Find your 13-digit account number at the bottom of your checks or in online banking. To find the number in online banking, select the appropriate checking account and click "Details" to view the account number. If you prefer, you may also attach a voided personal check to the direct deposit form to confirm the account number.
Mortgage Payments
  • Mortgage payments are due on the first day of every month. Payments received after the 16th of the month will incur a late fee. Choose the way you’d like to make your payment:

    Online
    For payments from an Elevations accounts:

    1. Log in to online banking.
    2. Click "Pay".
    3. Select the desired payment account from the "From Account" drop-down menu.
    4. Select "One-Time" or "Recurring" and define processing date.

    For payments from an external account or to make additional principal payments:

    1. Log in to online banking.
    2. Select “Mortgage Service Center” under the Accounts menu.
    3. Click the "Make a Payment" button.
      • To set up a recurring payment, click the "Set Up Autopay" button.
      • To set up a one-time payment, click the "Make a One-Time Payment" button.
    4. Follow the instructions to pay.

    Please note that if you set up recurring payments, your payment amount will automatically adjust if your mortgage payment changes for any reason.

    Choose to call our trusted mortgage servicing partner, Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc. (DMI), directly for faster processing times, or call us at Elevations.

    • How to call Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc.: Call (877) 849-9267, Monday through Friday from 8am - 5pm MT. Have your routing number and account numbers for the electronic transfer ready. There is a fee of $9.50 for using the payment system or $11.50 for paying with a representative.
    • How to call Elevations: Call (800) 429-7626 to make your mortgage payment, Monday through Friday from 7am - 8pm MT and Saturday from 8am - 1pm MT. Please note that your payment will take 1-3 business days to process.

    At a branch or by mail

    • In branch: You can make a mortgage payment at any Elevations branch.
    • By mail: Please mail a check with your name and 10-digit mortgage loan number (available on your mortgage statements) to:

Wire Transfers
  • Before you send a wire transfer, please review these important details:

    • Your responses on the downloadable wire transfer form below must be typed (incomplete or handwritten forms can’t be processed); please complete the form before printing.
    • Do not sign the form until you can be verified in branch or by a licensed notary.
    • For faxed requests, a valid notary’s signature and visible stamp are required.
    • Domestic wire transfers to U.S. locations usually reach their destination in 1-2 business days. International wire transfers may take longer.

    Wire transfer forms and instructions:

    • Outgoing domestic wire transfers: To send a wire transfer to another financial institution domestically, please complete the Domestic Wire Request Form (PDF). To process the transfer, your responses must be typed.
    • Outgoing international wire transfers: To send a wire transfer to another financial institution internationally, please complete the International Wire Request Form (PDF). To process the transfer, your responses must be typed.

  • To receive funds in your Elevations Credit Union account via wire transfer, you’ll need to provide the following information to the party sending the transfer:

    • Account number: Your Elevations Credit Union account number
    • Name: Your full name as it appears on your account statements or personal checks
    • Address: Your address associated with your Elevations Credit Union account

    For checking deposits: Ensure that the name and address exactly match what is printed on your statements or personal checks.

    For non-checking deposits: Contact us for specific instructions.

  • Fees for Outgoing International Wire Transfers are $45.

    A fee of $10.00 will be charged for incoming wire transfers. Please see our fee schedule for more information.

Person to Person Payments
  • Person-to-person transfer options like Zelle®, Venmo, and PayPal let you send and receive money anytime, anywhere. These services are designed for paying friends and family — people you know and trust.

    Common transfer options.

    • Zelle: Elevations does not support Zelle.
    • Venmo: Download the Venmo mobile app, and then follow the steps to enroll with your Elevations account information. You may choose to link a debit card, checking account, savings account, credit card, and more to make payments with Venmo. Learn more.
    • PayPal: Download the PayPal mobile app. By following the instructions, you’ll be able to link your credit card, debit card, or checking or savings account. This will provide you with another way to make payments or send money with PayPal. Learn more.

  • You can transfer money from your Elevations account to another member's Elevations account through online banking. Add the member as a recipient, and they will be listed as a recipient in your transfer screen. If you have questions or need assistance, please call our team: (800) 429-7626

Loan and Credit Card Payments
  • You can make payments for your credit card, auto loan, personal loan, home equity line of credit, home equity loan, or energy loan in online banking using your Elevations account or an account at another financial institution.

    Make a payment with an Elevations account

    1. Log in to online banking.
    2. Click the “Pay” button on the loan or credit card.
    3. Select the desired payment account from the “From Account” drop down.
    4. Select One-Time or Recurring and define processing date.

    Make a payment from an external account at another financial institution

    1. Log in to online banking.
    2. Click the “Pay” button on the loan or credit card.
    3. Under the “From Account” click “+ Add An Account.” Follow the instructions to “Add an account instantly” or “Add an account manually
      1. Please note that with “Add an account manually” will send two micro-deposits into the account. It can take up to 2-3 business days for the deposits to show up in the account. Once they post, Elevations will remove the deposits. You will need to finish verifying the external account in online banking. After you’ve verified the external account, you can choose from list of accounts.
    4. Once account has been added in “From Account” drop-down, select external account.
    5. Select One-Time or Recurring and define processing date.
  • You can make payments for your credit card, auto loan, personal loan, home equity line of credit, home equity loan, or energy loan in our mobile app using your Elevations account or an account at another financial institution.

    Make a payment with an Elevations account

    1. Log in to the Elevations mobile app.
    2. Select the loan or credit card on the dashboard.
    3. Click on the “Pay Now” button.
    4. Select the desired payment account from the “From Account” drop down.
    5. Select "One-Time" or "Recurring: and define processing date.

    Make a payment from an external account at another financial institution

    1. Log in to the mobile app.
    2. Select the loan or credit card on the dashboard.
    3. Click the “Pay Now” button.
    4. Under the “From Account” click “+ Add An Account".
    5. Follow the instructions to “Add an account instantly” or “Add an account manually".
      • Please note that with “Add an account manually” will send two micro-deposits into the account. It can take up to 2-3 business days for the deposits to show up in the account.   • Please visit the Elevations Loan Payment Center to make a loan — this is for one-time payments only for your auto loan, personal loan, home equity line of credit, home equity loan, or energy loan. Please allow two business days for your payment to be applied to your account after you submit it.

  • You can make payments for your credit card, auto loan, personal loan, home equity line of credit, home equity loan, or energy loan using your Elevations account or an external account at another financial institution.

    • By phone: Please call (800) 429-7626, Monday through Friday from 7am -6pm and Saturday from 8am - 1pm MT.  You may pay by electronic transfer using your routing and account numbers. If you pay by electronic transfer, it will take three business days for your payment to be applied to your account.
    • In branch: You can make a payment at any Elevations branch.
    • By mail: Please mail your check with your name and the full account number on your statement to:

    Loan payments, including those sent by mail, must be received by the payment due date to avoid late fees. Processing your payment is faster online, by phone, or at a branch.

Debit and Credit Card Assistance
  • Please let us know when and where you’re traveling to help ensure uninterrupted use of your Elevations Visa card. Setup a travel notification in online banking, call us at (800) 429-7626, visit a branch, use our live chat link at the top of this page, or log in to online banking.

    Online

    1. Login to online banking.
    2. Select “Alerts, Travel Notices, Replace” under the "Card Management" menu.
    3. Click “Manage Card” on the card image.
    4. Under “Travel Notices”, proceed to prompts.

    If you do not notify us, our system may flag your card usage as potential fraud and block your card. If your card is blocked, please call (888) 346-4412, available 24/7.

  • Please call (888) 346-4412, available 24/7. Please note that all disputes must be received within 60 days of the statement on which the disputed item appears. If your disputed transaction is past that timeframe, you will need to resolve the matter directly with the merchant.

  • To report a lost or stolen credit or debit card, please call (888) 241-2510 within the U.S., or (909) 941-1398 collect outside of the U.S. Available 24/7. You can also report within online banking.

  • To replace your credit or debit card, please call (888) 346-4412, available 24/7. You may also log in to Elevations Online Banking and start a secure chat to replace your card.

Checks, Joint Account Holders, and Name Changes
  • You can order checks in Elevations Online Banking, over the phone at (800) 429-7626, or at an Elevations branch.

    To order checks in Elevations Online Banking, select “Stop Payment / Order Checks” in the "Additional Services" tab.

  • To add a joint account holder, please schedule an appointment at a branch, call us at (800) 429-7626 or connect with us through Secure Chat in online banking. We will provide you with the required documentation to add a joint account holder.

  • To complete your name change, we require a Name Change Form (PDF) and one of the following documents supporting your name change:

    • A copy of your certified marriage license along with a copy of your updated Social Security Card
    • A copy of divorce decree specifically addressing name change
    • A copy of your unexpired government issued ID stating the name change
    • A copy of the court document stating the name change (must have visible stamp showing filed)

  • To align with the Federal Reserve’s new policy, Elevations is unable to process foreign checks, including Canadian checks, as of Nov. 15, 2026.

    If you need to send or receive funds internationally, we encourage you to use international wire transfers as an alternative. Please see the “Wire Transfers” section on this page for more information.

  • You can get a sheet of four temporary checks at any Elevations branch. Find an Elevations location near you, and a team member will happily assist you.

Branch Services, Membership, and Holiday Closures
  • Yes, Elevations offers both notary and signature guarantee services.

    Notary service 

    Notary service is free for Elevations members. Notaries are typically available at all Elevations branches every day; please call ahead to confirm, or make an appointment online

    You will need to bring: 

    • Your valid government-issued identification (driver's license, state ID card or passport) 
    • The completed document you need notarized (except for the signature) 
    • A witness, if your document requires it (we will only provide the notary, not the witness) 

    Medallion signature guarantee service 

    Medallion signature guarantee service is free for Elevations members. This service is required by the company managing securities, usually noted on their documentation, and is typically used to make changes, move securities, or transfer securities, including after the death of an account holder. Please call (800) 429-7626 to schedule an appointment, or make an appointment online

    This service is only available for securities that have a current value of less than $500,000. 

    You will need to bring: 

    • Your valid government-issued identification (driver's license, state ID card or passport)
    • A current statement showing the value of the securities and your ownership of them
    • To transfer ownership: a personal representative and/or estate paperwork that specifically states that you either have the rights to the securities or that you have the rights to the securities as a result of the account holder’s death
  • There are many services available to you when you visit a CO-OP shared branch, including:

    • Deposits
    • Withdrawals up to $1,500 in cash (cash limit may vary by credit union)
    • Loan payments
    • Credit card cash advances

    These services are available at some CO-OP locations — please call the location to determine if they are available:

    • Travelers checks and money orders
    • Notary services
    • Fee-free ATMs

    Please note that shared branching is not available for business banking members at this time, however shared ATMs may be used for business banking account access.

  • To join Elevations as a member, you need to meet one of the following criteria:

    • Live or work in Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Clear Creek, Delta, Denver, Douglas, El Paso, Eagle, Gilpin, Grand, Jefferson, Larimer, Mesa, Park, Pitkin, Routt, Summit, or Weld counties
    • Work or study at CU Boulder or Naropa University
    • Work for one of the nearly 400 employers and associations that use Elevations as a financial services provider
    • Be related to an Elevations member
    • Make a donation of $15 or more to Local Change Foundation

    Join Elevations by opening a Membership Savings Account and paying a one-time $5 membership fee. A membership fee is required for each account holder. We donate your one-time $5 membership fee to Local Change Foundation. Once you’re a member, you can apply for checking accounts, credit cards, loans and more.

  • As not-for-profit financial institutions, credit unions are required by the National Credit Union Administration to provide membership by either charging a membership fee or requiring members to keep a minimum amount of money in a savings account (aka a share deposit). To enhance our commitment to the communities we serve, we have chosen to charge a one-time $5 membership fee and donate this entire amount to Local Change Foundation.

  • Yes, if you open an account with another person (aka a joint account holder), you will both need to pay the one-time $5 membership fee and become members of Elevations if you are not currently members.

  • No, existing members do not need to pay the $5 membership fee.
