Elevations Credit Union has named Steve Schmidle as chief administrative officer. Schmidle brings nearly 30 years of experience in financial services and will lead the organization’s credit risk, payments and controls, and corporate real estate teams.

Schmidle returns to Elevations, where he previously served in senior leadership roles, including on the finance team and as chief strategy and performance officer. Most recently, he served as CFO and then president and CEO of Westerra Credit Union.

During his tenure at Westerra, Schmidle focused on strengthening employee engagement and enhancing the member experience. Throughout his nearly 30-year career in finance, he has been a strong advocate for the credit union model and its ability to positively impact the communities it serves.

“Steve brings a deep understanding of our organization and culture, a track record of innovative leadership, and a passion for serving our members and communities,” said President and CEO of Elevations Credit Union Michael Calcote. “We are so pleased to welcome him back to Elevations.”
