Elevations Credit Union names Shelley Ormsby as chief lending officer
Elevations Credit Union has appointed Shelley Ormsby as chief lending officer. She will lead the organization’s lending strategy and oversee mortgage, consumer, and commercial banking. In this role, Ormsby is responsible for driving responsible growth across the credit union’s lending portfolio while delivering strong value to members and supporting long-term financial sustainability.
“Shelley brings a unique combination of strategic thought, lending expertise, operational leadership, and legal insight,” said Elevations CEO Michael Calcote. “Her experience and thoughtful approach to growth will help us continue to meet our members’ evolving financial needs while staying grounded in our cooperative values.”
Ormsby brings more than 25 years of experience in financial services with deep expertise in lending, risk management, and regulatory compliance. She most recently served as legal counsel and compliance officer at Elevations and provided strategic guidance across the organization.
Prior to joining Elevations, Ormsby held senior leadership roles at FirstBank and Centennial Lending. In those positions, she led commercial and mortgage lending teams, drove portfolio growth, directed operational transformation initiatives, and implemented compliance frameworks across multiple lines of business.
She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and a bachelor’s degree in business finance from Regis University. She is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.
